The Fire Marshal's Office is dedicated to providing the Town of Vernon with public fire and life safety education activities throughout the year. We utilize the media, public gatherings, school and pre-school visits, informational handouts, senior housing visits and direct one on one contact to deliver our message.

The Vernon Fire Marshal's Office recently added the "Hazard House" to our fire prevention library with the help of our Emergency Management Office. The "Hazard House" will be on display at this years "Safety Day" October 8th, 2006, to kick off Fire Prevention Week.
